Lasooni Corn Palak = Healthy + Delicious This is one recipe which is a combination of easy to make, tasty and nutritious! Simple, clean flavors from corn and garlic make this recipe a staple week day meal in my house! My favorite part is the garlicky tadka that goes over this delicious palak gravy. Fresh green spinach beautifully compliments the corn kernels. It tastes best with roti or paratha. Enjoy making this recipe and leave me a comment if you like it!
Bring water to a boil. Add palak and blanch for a minute.
In a mixing jar add palak, ginger, garlic and green chilies. Make a fine paste and keep aside.
Sauté onions using oil.
Once onions turn translucent add in the prepared palak puree.
Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander cumin powder and garam masala.
Mix everything, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Then add corn and cook for a minute.
In a small pan, heat oil, add hing, cumin seeds, dry red chilies and chopped garlic.
Once cumin splatters, pour the tadka over palak corn sabji. Enjoy with roti or paratha!
1. To retain green color from the spinach, pour cold water after spinach is blanched.
