Avocado Raita!! You heard it right! I made this raita using avocado! Avocado is everybody’s favorite and we usually eat it with Mexican meals. Why not add it to our Indian menu aswell! A classic creamy Indian yogurt recipe which can be used as a refreshing dip or a side dish. Every house has their own raita recipe and it is made with a variety of vegetables and fruit combinations! From onions to tomatoes to cucumber or just plain raita with spices, the options are endless! I am pretty sure you might not have made raita using avocado! The creamy taste of avocado takes this raita to another level. I added finely chopped onions and cucumbers to give a nice texture to this creamy spiced yogurt!!
Simply mash avocado in a bowl.
Add yogurt, all chopped veggies and salt to avocado.
Mix everything and raita is ready to serve.
Enjoy with paratha or enjoy as a dip with some chips or veggies.
