Rakhshabandhan is around the corner, so thought of sharing an easy dessert recipe to get ready for the festive day! Mango trifle is simple to make and is full of my favorite summer fruit ‘MANGO’! You can either make this recipe in a big serving dish or just make individual servings. It tastes divine either ways!
Boil 2.5 cups of milk in a thick bottom pot. Once milk boils add sugar and let the sugar melt.
Take the remaining milk and mix cornstarch.
Add the milk-cornstarch mixture to boiled milk. Stir continuously for 3-4 minutes till the milk thickens and is cooked.
Once it cools, add mango pulp and mix everything.
Take a large serving bowl, make a first layer using cake or bread.
Next add the prepared mango custard, followed by mango piece.
Repeat layers till you fill the serving bowl.
Refrigerate for few hours and serve!
