Easy and simple malai kulfi recipe using only two ingredients
Add milk to a heavy bottom pan and bring it to a boil.
Keep on simmering the milk on low to medium flame till the milk gets reduced to 1/4 th in quantity. Milk should look more thick and creamy by now. Keep on stirring occasionally to prevent milk from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Now add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well till sugar is dissolved completely.
Bring the mixture to room temperature before pouring into kulfi mold.
Cover with foil and keep the mold in the freezer for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Garnish this rich and creamy kulfi with chopped nuts and serve.
1. You can make kulfi even with low fat milk, just add 3-4 tbsp of milk powder and you will get the same results.
2. Do not simmer the milk too long. It should be a little runny, as the mixture will thicken as it cools down.
3. If you don’t have kulfi mold use any freezer safe container.
4. Adjust sugar quantity according to your taste.
Yummy!!!!
