It’s time to share with you all my husband’s WORLD famous Rajma Chawal recipe. My family and friends love the rajma he cooks! A simple mix of spices and tomato-onion based gravy is the secret to his recipe! It is best accompanied with papad, achar, onions and whisked yogurt.
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, hing, turmeric powder, onions and ginger garlic paste. Sauté till onions are cooked
Then add tomato purée, all the remaining spices and salt. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Add boiled rajma, some water and again cook for 5-7 minutes.
Serve hot with some rice or roti!
