Nothing like urad dal wada topped with some cold, sweet dahi (yogurt) in this hot summer afternoon. Serve these soft melt in mouth dahi wada as a snack or a side dish.
Grind urad dal, green chilies and ginger using very little water. (Make sure batter is thick)
Add hing, salt and cumin seeds to the wada batter.
Deep fry wadas in oil on medium heat.
Soak wadas in water for an hour.
Mix sugar to yogurt and keep aside.
Squeeze wadas to remove extra water, put the wadas in a bowl and top it with some yogurt, red chili powder and serve!
