Another day and another beautiful healthy recipe! Beets are loaded with vitamins and minerals and is low in calories and fat. Mix it up with some yogurt and your raita is ready! This beautiful looking raita goes really well with biryanis, parathas or chillas.
Chop beetroot in pieces.
Cook the beetroot in water until soft and tender.
Once cooled add beetroot along with 2-3 tbsp of water and make a smooth purée.
In a bowl yogurt, purée, cumin powder and salt.
Top it up with chopped walnuts.
Raita is ready!
