Yes you hear it right!!! Junglee Sandwich…Junglee because this sandwich is huge and loaded cheese, paneer and mayonnaise. This recipe is INCREDIBLE! It is so cheesy, spicy and bursting with flavors! Junglee Sandwich is a famous street food in India. This is a three layered sandwich with paneer, cheese and mayonnaise filling. It is grilled till crispy and golden brown. Serve with ketchup and cilantro chutney.
Red chili garlic chutney:
Soak red chilies in water for 30 minutes.
In a mixer jar add red chilies, garlic, lime juice and salt. Make a smooth chutney.
Sandwich stuffing:
In a bowl add onions, bell pepper, tomato, green chilies and paneer.
Add 1 tsp sandwich masala, 2 tsp red chili garlic chutney, 1 tbsp mayonnaise. Mix everything and keep aside.
Sandwich:
Take three bread slices. Apply butter on all slices.
Then apply green chutney on two bread slices. On the third bread slice apply red chili garlic chutney.
On two bread slices spread the prepared stuffing. Sprink sandwich masala.
Next add shredded cheese on one of the bread and add mayonnaise on the other one.
Layer these bread slice on top of each other.
Lastly cover with the third bread slice, add more cheese on top.
Bake on a tava or a pre heated oven at 350 F till cheese is melted and sandwich is crispy.
Repeat with other bread slices and serve with chutney and ketchup.
