Say hello to these Ice Cream Sandwiches which are perfect for any gathering. There is a creamy vanilla custard which goes with these Ice Cream Sandwiches and makes them really tasty. If you are thinking about an easy dessert to entertain your friends which does not require baking, and a whole lot of kitchen time this is the right recipe. Make this dessert in advance and assemble it before serving!
In a bowl add half cup milk and vanilla custard. Mix and keep aside.
Bring 1 cup milk to boil, add sugar, vanilla essence and the prepared custard mixture. Keep boiling till mixture turns thick. Let it cool.
Take one cookie add some ice cream on top. (Make sure Icecream is not melted otherwise it will be difficult to make sandwiches)
Sandwich it with another cookie on top.
Refrigerate for an hour before using.
Pour some vanilla custard in a deep dish. Add the prepared sandwich, top with chopped fruits and nuts. (optional)
